Porsha Williams is taking a stand against Kelly Dodd after seeing that the Real Housewives of Orange County cast member wore a “Drunk Wives Matter” hat during her weekend bridal shower.
In a post shared to her Instagram Stories that appeared to be quickly deleted, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared a photo of Kelly wearing the hat as a number of RHOC viewers confirmed they will be boycotting the new season of the reality series and others demanded she be fired.
“Oh really Kelly Dodd, Drunk Wives Matter?” Porsha asked with a woozy-face emoji, according to a screenshot shared by Love Andy C on Twitter.
After Porsha’s post was shared on Twitter, one fan revealed they would not be tuning into season 15.
“She’s awful. She should not be on a show. I’m not watching this season,” the fan wrote.

As RHOA fans have likely seen, Porsha has been highly active with the Black Lives Matter movement in recent months, and she actually spent time behind bars after attending a peaceful protest earlier this year that called for the arrest of the officers involved in Breonna Taylor‘s murder. So, it’s no surprise that she, as well as many, many others, were completely taken aback when Kelly seemingly poked fun at their calls for racial equality and justice.
“Is that what you stand for, [Bravo TV] [Andy Cohen]? I’m so done watching #RHOC. The fact that your network continues to give this racist pos [Kelly Dodd] a platform is disgusting. Do better,” another fan wrote on Twitter.

Other people said that they didn’t understand why Bravo has failed to fire Kelly from her position on their show when they did so to other people who exhibited racially charged behavior.
“I don’t understand how anyone can stan or support Kelly Dodd, or how Bravo can continue to give her a platform and a paycheck. The longer Bravo keeps her employed the worse it has gotten. It’s time for Bravo to stand behind their recent statements and hold her accountable,” one person explained, along with a number of articles regarding Kelly’s past comments and actions.

“Fire [Kelly Dodd]. She doesn’t deserve the platform she has. [Andy Cohen] [Bravo] – YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS! #RHOC,” a fanpage tweeted.

“[Bravo] time to clean house of this housewife. Please,” said one woman.

Although Kelly did offer an explanation for her offensive hat on Instagram after facing backlash and said it was not “intended to offend” anyone, she later called her critics “whack jobs” for trying to have her fired and revealing that they’ll be boycotting the new season.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 15 premieres next Wednesday, October 14, at 10 p.m. on Bravo.
