There’s a battle going down in the OC!
Kelly Dodd isn’t holding back while coming for her Real Housewives of Orange County co-star, Braunwyn Windham-Burke. She’s calling out the mother-of-seven’s tendency to travel without her children and allegedly leaving them to be raised by nannies.
“This is so wrong… hypocrisy at its highest level. I never abandoned my daughter during Covid. She was with her grandmother and father when I was stuck in NYC,” Kelly scoffed in a comment posted by Real Housewives Franchise. “Braunwyn on the other hand travelled to Puerto Rico, Aspen, Salt Lake City and elsewhere without her kids who spent and continue to spend considerable time with nannies, not their mom.”
Kelly went on to say, “I have one child (teenager). She has 7 including 4 aged 2-6. There’s so much more I can’t wait to say at the reunion so stay tuned. Poor Braunwyn will be eaten alive.”
While it’s unknown what triggered Kelly’s lashing out, Braunwyn did recently throw shade at her wedding to Rick Leventhal during an October interview with Entertainment Tonight when asked why she didn’t attend.
As for Kelly, she might be referencing Braunwyn’s Instagram adventures this year as she notably spent time with housewives from other franchises while visiting different cities across the country.
This isn’t the first time the tension between Kelly and Braunwyn has flared up. Kelly recently agreed with Gina Kirschenheiter‘s notion that Braunwyn’s husband, Sean Burke, is “creepy,” and Braunwyn cited Kelly’s unfollowing her as being due to their political differences.
Braunwyn shares seven children with her husband Sean: Bella, 20, Rowan, 18, Jacob, 15, twins Caden and Curren, seven, Koa, five, and Hazel, two. The couple has gone through notable changes and challenges this year, reportedly living apart (and moving back in together) while they work on themselves as Braunwyn continues her journey of sobriety.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs every Wednesday at 9/8c on Bravo.
