Erika Jayne has just been hit with a new lawsuit filed by the trustee appointed to Thomas Girardi‘s bankruptcy case as they are demanding that she return the $25 million she allegedly received fraudulently from her estranged husband.
As she’s seen attempting to navigate through her divorce and ongoing legal drama on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Erika’s issues have intensified off-screen. She faces accusations of having received $25,000,000 in fraudulent transfers as well as numerous other items from Thomas as he attempted to hide his assets from creditors.
According to court documents obtained by Radar Online on July 15, the trustee is demanding Erika return the items and money “fraudulently” transferred to her and her companies, EJ Global and Pretty Mess Inc.
It is being alleged that Erika received this money at a period when she allegedly knew Thomas’s finances were in shambles.
The trustee claims Thomas transferred money to Erika while attempting to hide them from his growing number of creditors.
Erika, 50, is alleged to have also received jewelry and more luxury items that were bought using the Debtor’s funds. The trustee states that it was during his investigation that he also learned that Erika was paid $25,000,000 in receivables from Thomas.
The trustee goes on to allege that Erika continues to “aid and abet” in the hiding of assets from debtors and victims of Thomas.
He states, “Plaintiff is informed and believes and, on that basis alleges thereon, that defendant Erika has used her glamor and notoriety to continue to aid and abet in sham transactions that have occurred with respect to large transfers of assets from the Debtor to the Defendants.”
The lawsuit is demanding Jayne not only return the $25 million but also the jewelry and all other luxury items in her possession that were transferred to her by Thomas.
The trustee also explained in his lawsuit against Erika that Thomas assigned his rights to a 2012 court settlement to her, reportedly in an effort to hide his assets. And, between 2012 and 2021, the RHOBH cast member allegedly collected $242,658 in payments.
She’s also believed to be due $78,000 more in payments, per the deal, which will reportedly be given to her between 2022 and 2025. However, as the trustee also revealed, he was able to intercept $19,760 and placed the money into a trust account as they await a final decision on the case.
Ahead of Wednesday night’s episode of RHOBH, Page Six shared photos of Erika looking casual as she ran errands in Los Angeles.

In the photos, Erika was seen lugging her groceries into her Los Angeles rental home while wearing a cream-colored tracksuit, sunglasses, and sneakers. Erika was also sporting a high ponytail as she walked alongside her assistant after visiting a Trader Joe’s store in the area.
As RHOBH fans will recall, Erika was criticized last month after being photographed looking less-than-glam while pumping gas.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
