Erika Jayne and Kyle Richards were reportedly involved in an off-camera confrontation following the taping of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion last month.
According to a new report, Erika “confronted” Kyle in an “ugly showdown” after learning she allegedly “spread rumors” about her and Thomas Girardi‘s financial woes as far back as 2019.
“Erika addressed her feelings towards Kyle at the reunion but left unhappy because she didn’t like the line of questioning,” a source told The Sun on September 28. “After the reunion, the conversation continued off-camera with Erika pressing her to be honest about things she said. It was an ugly showdown between the pair.”
Although things between Erika and Kyle were said to be tense prior to the taping, they reportedly got worst after Bethenny Frankel and Camille Grammer came forward, saying that they had heard rumors about Thomas’ supposedly shady business dealings years ago.
Then, after Lisa Vanderpump suggested it was Kyle who was behind the rumor spreading that reportedly took place at Andy Cohen‘s baby shower in January 2019, the drama between Erika and Kyle reached new heights.
“The conversation got ‘heated’ when Camille [Grammer] and Bethenny [Frankel] came out with their stories, and now things have reached a peak with Lisa Vanderpump telling her side,” the source said.
While Lisa wasn’t actually in attendance at the baby shower, she claimed Camille informed her about Kyle’s behavior. Either way, her statements about Kyle have had an impact on Erika’s thoughts regarding their relationship.
“Erika is annoyed but not surprised after seeing this build up over the past few months, she feels Kyle is absolutely not to be trusted,” the insider explained, adding that Kyle is just as frustrated.
“Kyle isn’t happy with how Erika spoke to her at the reunion and afterwards, but is more upset with Lisa and Camille who she feels are making her look bad intentionally,” the source stated.
As the cast looks forward to filming on the upcoming 12th season of RHOBH, Erika and Kyle’s spat is expected to continue and take center stage once cameras begin rolling.
“Erika and Kyle’s fallout will be addressed in the next season and producers are looking to make it a big storyline,” the insider shared.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 finale airs Wednesday, October 6, at 8/7c on Bravo.
