RHOC Alums Tamra Judge and Jim Bellino Delay Trial Date Amid $1 Million Defamation Lawsuit,

Tamra Judge is ready to put an end to her legal battle with former Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Jim Bellino.

Years after Jim, the ex-husband of RHOC alum Alexis Bellino, filed a $1 million lawsuit against Tamra and Shannon Beador, claiming they made defamatory remarks on Heather McDonald‘s podcast, Juicy Scoop, Tamra and Jim appear to be trying to work things out amongst themselves.

According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, both parties have informed the court they would like to postpone their upcoming court date and will be pushing back the date by 60 days.

When Jim filed his case against Tamra and Shannon, he accused the women of spreading malicious lies about his trampoline business and supposed sham divorce from Alexis. He also noted that they had brought up a lawsuit in which a customer claimed to have been paralyzed at his business and said he was “going to jail.”

“As a result of the defamatory statements at issue in this case, they have been unable to originate several new loans and unable to obtain several new investments, as some third parties are no longer willing to do business with them as a result of damage to my reputation,” he wrote in his lawsuit, requesting $1 million in damages.

In response, Tamra and Shannon denied wrongdoing, claiming they didn’t say anything that wasn’t already public knowledge.

As RHOC fans may have heard, a judge dismissed Shannon from the lawsuit in 2019 and ordered Jim to pay her $137,000 in legal fees. Although Shannon wasn’t immediately paid and proceeded to put a lien on Jim’s $4 million Orange County home, she informed the court in May of this year that Jim had paid her in full.

In May of this year, a trial date of November 8 was set for Tamra and Jim, which means the former reality stars will be back in court in early January, at the earliest, if they are unable to reach an out-of-court settlement.

While both Tamra and Shannon were good friends with Heather prior to the lawsuit, Heather admitted in March 2020 that she hadn’t spoken to either of them in over a year.

“Their attorney counseled them and our attorney said this is a very common thing to say — do not talk to this other party — me,” Heather explained to Page Six. “So I haven’t talked to them in over a year.”

“That’s what was so heartbreaking about it all because I was really good friends with them both,” she continued. “I went to Tamra’s wedding. I met her over ten or eleven years ago when our kids were both four. Shannon went to USC and we connected on that level and went to games together.”
