Meredith Marks is shutting down claims of a fake memorial once and for all.
After a number of her Real Housewives of Salt Lake City castmates raised questions about why she didn’t travel on the van to Vail with the rest of them, Meredith proved exactly where she was with a hotel receipt before weighing in on Lisa Barlow‘s supposed “hot mic” moment and calling out her former friend of 10 years for trying to paint her as an “out of control” woman on Watch What Happens Live.
“Repulsive as it is, some are still commenting that I faked a memorial. I am not the fake of the group,” Meredith tweeted on January 31. “I answered the question the first night asked at the white party. I went to Aspen on 3/28, had the memorial on 3/29 and left for Vail that evening. Receipt below for my hotel.”
On Meredith’s receipt, it is noted that she checked into the Residences at The Little Nell on March 28 and checked out the following day.
Around the same time, Meredith seemed to suggest with a series of posts on her Instagram Story that Lisa wanted her alleged “hot mic” moment to air on RHOSLC.
After seeing that Lisa had suggested her mic was turned “off” during rant about Meredith’s supposed cheating, and that producers caught her claims on a boom, Meredith wrote, “Hmmmmm,” and she wondered how Lisa could be so unaware of such a large device.
“For those of you who are not familiar with a boom, please see below pic. It requires someone to hold it. If it was outside the door we would have seen it and in the room she would have,” Meredith wrote, along with the “#stopthelies” hashtag.
When Lisa’s response was later shared on Twitter, Meredith again weighed in.
“Oh please. Spare me [the] BS,” she wrote. “If there was a boom we would have seen it outside the door or the boom was in the room where she would have seen it. Regardless she was not alone when on that rant.”
In another message on Twitter, Meredith reacted to a conversation between fans, one of whom asked why Lisa delivers her messages at night when “the cameras are down,” and another who suggested it was because she wouldn’t get caught.
After seeing that Lisa had defended herself against her supposed sneakiness, saying that she had walked Meredith back to her room to listen because Meredith was “crying” and “that’s what you do if you’re friends,” Meredith denied crying in Mary Cosby‘s room and put a spotlight on lies she reportedly told on WWHL last month.
“I was not crying in Mary’s room. Ask [Mary Cosby],” Meredith replied. “Nor did I have multiple panic attacks at the white dinner as [you] said on [WWHL]. Cameras were up and they would have shown that. Stop trying to paint me as an out of control, hysterical woman to justify your wrongdoing.”
In addition to discussing Meredith on WWHL, Lisa also chatted about Meredith and her alleged panic attacks on the RHOSLC: After Show.
“I knew Meredith was having extreme anxiety before going into the dinner [in Zion]. She’s like, ‘I’m having a panic attack,’” Lisa recalled. “And I think she knew that this was the night things were going to come to a head.”
