Lisa Barlow appeared on the January 23 episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she was asked about the “hot mic” moment that will soon play out on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
After a sneak peek at next week’s episode featured Lisa making shocking allegations against Meredith Marks, including calling her a “wh-re” who “f-cked half of New York,” Andy Cohen mentioned the intense moment. And needless to say, Lisa’s not looking forward to it — “at all.”
“I regret my poor choice of words over and over again. It made me really sad. But those were real emotions,” Lisa explained on Sunday’s WWHL. “I was really, really upset and it took a lot to get me to that point and once I got to that point, that’s why I left the table. I needed private space, which I didn’t get… It’s not good.”
While it may not be surprising to hear that Lisa is no longer close to Meredith, she also confirmed she isn’t close to Jen Shah after the season two reunion.
During the WWHL: After Show, Lisa again addressed her “hot mic” moment against Meredith, saying it likely led Meredith to remove the birthday tribute she shared in her honor in December.
“I’m sure it’s based on the next episode. I had a little rant that I’m not proud of. But I hit my boiling point,” she noted.
Although Lisa and Meredith aren’t on good terms, she said she doesn’t think she or Jen hooked up with a man discussed on Sunday’s episode, even though she never asked either of them about it.
“Neither one of them has ever told me anything about that. I learned about it the same time you guys did. But I don’t think they did,” Lisa shared.
Regarding the controversial interview Mary Cosby‘s mom recently gave to Up and Adam, during which she suggested Mary was a victim in her marriage, Lisa acknowledged the strained relationship the women have.
“I think they have a very complicated family and I’m not a part of it. And I think based on the things Mary said, it’s different than that,” Lisa said.
Also on the show, Lisa was asked if she knows Meredith’s alleged “10 boyfriends” (which Jen accused her of having during an episode of RHOSLC earlier this month).
“I do not,” Lisa replied. “I have never talked to Meredith about anyone she’s dated other than [Seth Marks].”
In the weeks since she and her castmates filmed the RHOSLC season, fans have taken aim at several of their looks. But according to Lisa, she felt that “everyone picked what they felt comfortable in and was true to their style.”
“And I actually loved my dress,” she added.
As for the ongoing speculation into what really went down between John Barlow and her sister, Lisa told a fan they “100 percent” did not have sex.
“John and I would not be together. I do not share,” she stated.
At another moment, Lisa was asked about her decision to quickly forgive Jen after their physical altercation.
“It was definitely like she needed a friend at that point,” Lisa explained.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season two airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
