Kyle Richards was completely “shocked” when she came across Erika Jayne‘s video of Garcelle Beauvais’ new book, Love Me As I Am, in the trash.
Amid her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars’ messy social media feud, Kyle reacted to Erika’s shade while also addressing the comment Garcelle made on Watch What Happens Live in regard to her relationship with her sister, Kathy Hilton.
“Uh, wow, that was something else… I literally was shocked,” Kyle said of Erika’s diss during an Amazon Live stream on April 14, via Page Six, noting that Erika’s video was “ballsy.”
Although Lisa Rinna has made it clear that she’s Team Erika, Kyle said she doesn’t want to get involved in the online battle.
“Honestly, the drama really causes me stress, guys,” she explained. “I mean, I can’t believe I’ve been doing this 12 years, and sometimes I’m like, it is just way too much for me. I really do try to stay out of all of that, believe it or not.”
In addition to wanting to stay out of the RHOBH feud, Kyle shared that she has her “own issues” with Garcelle.
“Last night, I got my feelings hurt on Watch What Happens Live when I was just sitting at home making dinner, so I don’t know how I still get my feelings hurt, but I do,” Kyle revealed.
As viewers may have seen, Garcelle started off the series by complimenting Kyle on the way she reacted to the hurt she felt amid their charity feud. Then, after host Andy Cohen asked if Kathy was closer to her amid the feud between Kathy and Kyle that was teased in a sneak peek at season 12, Garcelle confirmed that was “absolutely” the case.
Earlier this month, during an interview with Page Six, Garcelle defended Kathy after it was suggested in the trailer that she had said something horrible about Kyle.
“The Kathy thing, I don’t like,” she stated. “I think she’s a great woman, and I think the show thrives on drama.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 premieres Wednesday, May 11, at 8/7c on Bravo.
