Erika Jayne is back in the saddle, at least when it comes to the physical aspect of her love life.
Over a year after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member filed for divorce from Thomas Girardi, Teddi Mellencamp questioned her about whether or not she was having sex post-split. And while Erika didn’t identify her mystery man by name, she did share some details with her former co-star.
“Yes and it’s good… [He’s] younger than me,” Erika revealed on Two T’s in a Pod on April 25.
“She won’t tell me,” Lisa Rinna complained in response to Erika’s secrecy as Kyle Richards asked, “Is that the Oscar winner?”
“I never had sex with him,” Erika replied.
“Is he famous?” Kyle wondered.
“No,” Erika confirmed.
Although the RHOBH ladies wrapped filming on season 12 earlier this year and proved they were on good terms with one another as they (Erika, Lisa, and Kyle) appeared on Teddi’s podcast on Monday, Erika admitted she went missing from their group text amid production as she found herself feuding with Lisa.
“I’ve been so wrapped up in my own disaster that sometimes I neglect to enter the chat, and then when I do, I’m taking everything very personally. I’m hyper-sensitive and somebody can look at me wrong and I think it’s like the worst day of my life. So maybe I didn’t enter the chat when I should have,” Erika explained as Lisa said she remembers the moment Erika was referring to.
“We weren’t speaking. But we ended up speaking, clearly,” Erika continued as she sat beside Lisa and Kyle.
Teddi also wanted to know if Erika ever felt she was a scapegoat for other castmates of the show as they were faced with drama of their own, only to be overshadowed by the ongoing legal saga plaguing Erika.
“I think that my story was overwhelmingly covered in a lot of places. I couldn’t get away from it and it just kept going on and on and every day there was something new, there was a new case filed or there was a new something. So it was almost like you couldn’t not talk about it,” Erika shared.
Although there were times when it wasn’t easy for Erika to be confronted about the crimes she and Thomas were accused of committing against his former clients, including allegations of embezzling millions, she told Teddi and her listeners that it was all a part of her gig.
“That’s what we’re here to do. We’re here to talk about what’s going on in people’s lives. Do you think I wanted to slap on a pretty face and an outfit and get over there and get my ass kicked every day? The answer is no. Is it what I signed up to do? Yes, it is. So I had to do that,” she stated.
“I appreciate it. Even though things were going down, [she] still showed up,” Kyle noted.
“She never left. She didn’t run,” agreed Lisa.
Also on Teddi’s podcast, Erika admitted to getting in trouble with production on a number of occasions, mainly due to the extensive preparation that went into each and every one of her looks.
“I’ve gotten my a– kicked several times. There was a time that [Dorit Kemsley] and I were in the bathroom and the door was kicked open,” Erika revealed.
