Teresa Giudice on When She'll Quit RHONJ, Why Melissa Isn't a Bridesmaid, and Her Show Understanding With Joe Gorga, Plus Joe Giudice's Response to Wedding

Has Teresa Giudice had enough of The Real Housewives of New Jersey after starring on the Bravo reality series for its past 12 seasons?

Following a dramatic exit from the Nashville girls’ trip, which many took as her potential series exit, Teresa revealed when she’s planning to call it quits with the show before explaining why she doesn’t want sister-in-law Melissa Gorga to act as a bridesmaid in her wedding to Luis Ruelas and sharing the understanding she and brother Joe Gorga have about the show.

“I think I’m gonna ride it out,” Teresa said of her future on RHONJ on the April 27 episode of E! NewsThe Daily Pop. “I started it and I think I’m going to ride it out to the end, until [Andy Cohen] doesn’t want me anymore.”

Although Teresa doesn’t have any current plans to walk away from the show, she’s not yet sure if her wedding will be filmed for season 13.

“I don’t know. We’ll see,” she teased.

One thing she is sure about is not having Melissa as a bridesmaid.

“It is what it is,” Teresa stated. “I’m not her best friend, she’s not my best friend. We’re family. I love her. She’s my sister-in-law, and vice versa. And I’m sure she loves me because I’m her sister-in-law. But do we hang out like best friends? No, we don’t, and I’m okay with that.”

With her wedding just months away, Teresa said she’s done planning, aside from bridesmaid dress shopping, which she and her future mother-in-law plan to do this weekend.

She also said that while her guest list is set, she would consider inviting ex-husband Joe Giudice, but due to his deportation, he wouldn’t be able to attend the New Jersey event.

“We’re in good terms. He’s happy for me, I’m happy for him,” she explained.

As for the other Joe, Joe Gorga, Teresa said that despite their on-screen drama, she will “always be there for [Joe], no matter what.”

“I look at the show, and if I don’t like something, I call [Joe] and I tell him. And I always tell him to do the same thing for me,” she revealed of their agreement. “I’m like, ‘Joe, if I say anything wrong, please, tell me. Let me know because then I’ll make sure I won’t say it next time,’ or, ‘I’ll make it different.'”

Ahead of the RHONJ reunion, Teresa said that when it comes to her castmates, she hopes they will give Luis the respect he deserves.

“This is not something [Luis] signed up for. He met Teresa Giudice and, of course, this comes along,” she shared. “Does he want to be on TV? No. But if he dates me, does he have to be on TV? I mean, of course, otherwise everyone’s gonna be upset with me, like, ‘Why am I not bringing my boyfriend around?'”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s three-part reunion begins Tuesday, May 3, at 8/7c on Bravo.
