Scheana Shay‘s fiancé, Brock Davies, didn’t want her going public with her miscarriage after she suffered the loss of their first child in June 2020.

While appearing on a recent podcast, the Vanderpump Rules star admitted that when it came to speaking out about her miscarriage, she felt it was important to remain transparent with her fans, even if that meant Brock would end their relationship.

“I can not go through life, not addressing this, and I said so I, at that point, honestly, didn’t care if he broke up with me,” Scheana shared on the Skinny Him & Her Confidential podcast, via TV Show Ace.

According to Scheana, she kept her miscarriage, which happened just as her former Pump Rules co-star Stassi Schroeder was confirming her own pregnancy, to herself at first. Meanwhile, Brock, who eventually came around to the idea of sharing their sad news, hoped to keep the loss to themselves, even refusing to tell his mom about what had happened.

During another interview, Scheana, who welcomed her rainbow baby, daughter Summer Moon Honey Davies, in April 2021 and became engaged to Brock months later, confirmed that while she and Brock initially hoped to say “I do” in Bali this fall, they have moved their ceremony to Mexico and will instead wed in August.

“I just wanted something overlooking the ocean,” Scheana explained to E! News while attending the grand opening of Lisa Vanderpump‘s new Las Vegas restaurant, Vanderpump à Paris, on April 21, noting that she and Brock are willing to have the event filmed.

“If we have a season 10, absolutely. Bring the cameras,” she declared.

As for whether or not Brock’s family would be attending their upcoming wedding, Scheana acknowledged that Mexico is a bit more challenging than Bali, which is closer to their homes in Australia.

“I mean, Bali I definitely think would have been the easiest because it’s so much closer to them. But, a lot of his family are still going to be able to make it,” she said.

Scheana went on to reveal that she actually surprised Brock by bringing his two sisters to Sin City for Lisa’s restaurant opening last week.

“We surprised him yesterday. He had no idea his sisters were coming only his mom,” she explained. “His mom was like, ‘I can’t keep this surprise that we have the sisters coming,’ but we kept it a surprise. I got the whole thing on video and I’ll be posting it soon.”
