RHONJ's Joe Gorga Admits Future on Show is Uncertain and Shares What "Shocked" Him Amid "Crazy" New Season as Melissa Clarifies Frank's Finale Fight Claims

Joe Gorga appeared on the red carpet at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, where he opened up about his future with The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

While also commenting on his “sad” situation with sister Teresa Giudice, whose August 6 wedding he and wife Melissa Gorga skipped, and sharing what “shocked” him amid production on the upcoming 13th season, Joe admitted that when it comes to returning for the 14th season, he’s not so sure what will happen.

“We’ll see. You never know,” Joe admitted to The U.S. Sun on August 28 of his Bravo future. “It’s 11 years in, and I’m kind of shocked. I’m like really? We’re still doing this s**t?”

According to Joe, the new season is “going to be crazy.”

“It’s real stuff, it just gets better and better,” he teased.

In fact, Joe said that one particular moment between the husbands (none of which he mentioned by name) will leave viewers feeling “shocked.”

As RHONJ fans may recall, The Sun shared earlier this month that Joe and Teresa’s now-husband, Luis Ruelas, were involved in a blowout fight during the taping of the finale.

“Joe charged at Luis during filming after long-simmering tensions came to a head. Luis was upset that [Joe’s wife] Melissa unfairly blamed Teresa for spreading rumors about her marriage. But Teresa and Luis only talked to Joe about these rumors off camera to protect them,” an insider explained weeks ago, giving a nod to the cheating rumors spread about Melissa at the end of filming on season 13.

Luis “had to be fully restrained by security,” a second insider added. “Somehow a physical brawl broke out, but security stopped it from escalating further.”

As for where things stand between him and Teresa today, Joe didn’t say much.

“It’s a tough one to answer. It’s sad,” he admitted.

Luckily, he has more positive things to think about, including his new home and his comedy career.

“I have a special coming out in October. I’m trying to not travel as much and hang out with the kids, that’s why I’m doing a special. I’m pretty good at it. It’s fun, I like it!” he exclaimed. “I love to make people laugh and talk about real life. My whole life is drama.”

In her own red carpet interview with Us Weekly, Melissa was asked if Frank Catania‘s claims that he had to break people apart during the taping of the RHONJ finale were true.

“I mean, not necessarily. I think he was being a little dramatic, but there was definitely aggression there.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 is expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
