Lisa Rinna will be seen detailing Kathy Hilton‘s meltdown in Aspen on tonight’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
In a just-released sneak peek at the September 21 episode, Lisa reveals that during a nightclub outing with their castmates, “Kathy was having an absolute meltdown.” After the meltdown, she took aim not only at her sister Kyle Richards but also Kyle’s entire family.
“I’ve never seen anything like this in my life,” Lisa admitted in a confessional. “I’m still in shock from what I experienced. It’s not something that I would’ve ever imagined coming from anyone in this group, let alone Kathy Hilton.”
“We get in the Sprinter van, and Kathy starts screaming about everything. And she’s saying things like, ‘I’m going to take down NBC, Bravo… I will take down this show, single-handedly. I will f-cking ruin you all,'” Lisa continued.
And once they arrived back at Kyle’s house, where much of the RHOBH cast was staying, things got worse.
“She takes her glasses off, she throws them on the ground, she’s jumping up and down, breaking her glasses, she’s pounding the walls, and she’s screaming, she made Kyle. Kathy’s responsible for Kyle, and she said, ‘I will destroy Kyle and her family if it’s the last thing I ever do,'” Lisa revealed.
As she and Lisa packed up and prepared to head back to Los Angeles, Kyle admitted to suspecting that whatever happened with Kathy was “going to be [her] fault.” Then, on the plane, after husband Mauricio Umansky wonders why Kathy isn’t flying home with them, Kyle reveals she got a text from her sister, which read, “I’m not flying back on the plane.”
“Kathy’s not on the plane with us today because she had a breakdown at the nightclub that we were all at — that we saw,” Erika Jayne explained.
Looking back at the drama at the club, Sutton Stracke recalled Kathy being “a little off.”
“She kept asking everybody to do the Congo line and I don’t think anybody wanted to do it. The next thing I know, she’s in my face saying that she wanted to go home ‘and if you don’t go home with me, you are not my friend,'” Sutton noted. Crystal Kung-Minkoff then wondered, “How bad could the behavior have been?”
Diana Jenkins also spoke out, saying, “I ran to the bathroom, and I came back, and I just saw her completely raging, screaming at the girls, and mostly, at Kyle.”
As for Kyle, she said in a confessional that Kathy had told her she was “pissed off” and demanded they “leave the club right now.”
“I was very confused because I didn’t even know what happened. So I said, ‘No. I’m not doing that. We just got here, Kathy,'” Kyle confessed. “Rinna was texting Erika a play by play of what was happening and I was glancing at Erika’s phone and I was just like, ‘I don’t wanna go home.'”
On the plane ride home, Lisa said she didn’t want to repeat what Kathy said but told Kyle they should talk “at some point.”
Also during her confessional, Lisa said, “Kyle is way more famous and way more successful than Kathy Hilton’s ever been.” She added that Kathy is “still holding onto anger” over Mauricio’s decision to leave the real estate firm of her husband, Rick Hilton, and start one of his own. Kathy was also upset about Kyle’s former series, American Woman, which was written about their mother.
“I think that it’s been very hard for Kathy to have it all and then have her sister have more,” Lisa added.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
