Crystal Kung-Minkoff faced backlash on Instagram after sharing a series of photos of herself spending time with Diana Jenkins.
Following the sharing of her post, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was met with claims of being “fake” and a “social climber,” which prompted Crystal to not only defend herself but also her off-camera friendship with her newly-pregnant co-star.
“I’m still full. And drunk,” Crystal wrote in the caption of a December 27 slideshow, which featured photos of her, Diana, and a couple of her other friends.
In the comments section of the post, Crystal was met with a number of people who were caught off-guard by her pics.
“A little weird that [you’re] with Diana and you was just with Garcelle,” one person shared, adding that Crystal’s “old friend group said [she] was fake.”
“Interesting how you consider being open and transparent about your friendships is fake. I recommend having an open mind, and considering what you see is not necessarily what’s real,” Crystal clapped back.
Other followers of Crystal wondered if she was “serious” and told her, “Ew. Not Diana.”
“CRYSTAL NO,” one person stated.
“I guess she’s not the one who bought these bots against Garcelle’s boys ’cause you wouldn’t still be friends with a human like this right?” someone else wrote, giving a nod to claims linking Diana to the bots who hurled hateful and racist messages at Garcelle’s 14-year-old son, Jax Nilon, amid the 12th season of RHOBH, which Diana previously denied.
“I totally understand your perspective. But she has been a very good and loyal friend to me off camera. And that I will not take for granted,” Crystal replied.
Another person said that after seeing Crystal with Diana, they were starting to believe the claims previously made against her.
“You are hanging out with Diana ???? I am starting to think everything everyone said about you is true,” they stated, accusing Crystal of being a “social climber.”
Still, Crystal denied any such thing, telling her follower, “Diana is the most anti-social person on the planet. Ask her yourself.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to begin production sometime in early 2023.
