Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz may have gone through some rocky moments amid production on the upcoming 10th season of Vanderpump Rules. But according to a sighting on Monday, they’ve made it to the other side.
After experiencing difficulties maintaining a friendship with one another amid Tom’s romantic endeavors with their co-star, Raquel Leviss, Katie, 37, and Tom, 40, seemingly proved things are A-okay between them as they enjoyed a lunch date in honor of Katie’s birthday.
“Katie [and] Schwartz having a ‘friendly’ lunch to celebrate Katie’s birthday yesterday. We love to see it,” Bravo and Cocktails wrote in the caption of a video they shared on Instagram.
In the clip, Katie and Tom sat across from one another at an outdoor restaurant, where they seemed to be enjoying an animated conversation over their meals.
In other Katie Maloney news, the Pump Rules cast member recently welcomed actor Rob Evors to her podcast, where she explained why she is not open to having children without a partner.
“For me, I would never do it on my own,” Katie confirmed on the January 6 episode of You’re Gonna Love Me, per Heavy. “I don’t have that urge to be a mother so bad that I’m just going to do it by any means necessary because I would want to do that with a person that I want to build a family with.”
According to Katie, sharing her two dogs, Butter and Gordo Vonfriendenheimer, with ex-husband Tom has been difficult enough.
“It’s hard being [a] single dog parent at times and I only do it for like a week at a time. It’s a lot,” Katie admitted.
During a more recent podcast episode, Katie said it was difficult filming with Tom amid their breakup.
“It was still a very tender subject, a tender time in our lives, and we were exploring and still kinda navigating the friendship between us, and that whole aspect of it all was still new to both of us,” she shared. “We just barely moved out of our house and so there was still a lot of things that were new to both of us so yeah, you throw in filming into the mix of that and yeah, it was definitely, definitely very difficult but I think we made it through.”
Vanderpump Rules season 10 premieres on Wednesday, February 8, at 9/8c on Bravo.
