After her estranged brother, Joe Gorga, suggested the men suffered a falling out over a business deal gone wrong, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star explained where they really stand with one another after first defending the series’ former villain, Danielle Staub.
“Me and her always end up talking and she was very nice,” Teresa said of Danielle on the April 9 episode of Namaste B$tches. “She even said to me, she’s so sweet, she’s like, she’s very misunderstood. I’ve always had fun with her going out but you know, it’s just, she’s definitely misunderstood.”
According to Teresa, she and Danielle have soft spots for one another because they see the good in each other.
“She always said to me, she’s like, ‘I know you don’t have a mean bone in your body.’ She’s like, ‘That’s why I always have a soft spot for you.’ She said that to me and vice versa. And same thing because I know she’s not a malicious person. Like, when I was alone with her, she would never gossip about anybody.”
Moving on to Luis and Dave, the RHONJ star said the men “speak every single day” despite rumors suggesting they’re at odds. (Rumors last summer suggested Dina pulled out of Teresa’s wedding due to a feud between them.)
“Luis and Dave speak every single day. They’re so close. They’ve never once had a business dealing. Dave’s in cars and Luis is in, um, marketing and advertising so they do different things,” Teresa explained.
“Dave and Luis were never in business together, ever, ever, ever, that never happened,” she continued. “They’ve always just been best friends, really. There’s nothing there. And I think there was a story that came out on Page Six that clarified that, which I was kinda happy.”
Then, after Melissa Pfeister claimed Dave denied doing business with Luis and confirmed they have “no beef” with one another, Teresa said Dave had one issue with the article.
“I think Dave was even so annoyed that he was called David and not Dave,” Teresa added.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
