RHOP's Robyn Dixon on Biggest Misconception About Juan Drama, Deleted Texts, and Update on His Career, Plus Karen's Polygamy Comparison, Her Issue With Candiace, and Mia's Boyfriend

Robyn Dixon appeared on Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she was asked a series of questions about her relationship drama with husband Juan Dixon.

While also reacting to Karen Huger‘s polygamy diss, explaining her issue with Candiace Dillard-Bassett, 37, and sharing her thoughts on Mia Thornton‘s love life, the Real Housewives of Potomac cast member, 44, responded to claims of suspicious behavior from Juan, 45, shared fans’ biggest misconception about their marriage, and more.

“[The biggest misconception is] that I intentionally hid something or that I lied,” Robyn shared on the January 7 episode of WWHL. “I mean, I do want to say, when I think most couples when we go through something and you work through it and you decide to close it, you should not reopen it for the sake of your relationship.“

Although many have felt Robyn is burying her head and refusing to see what’s there, Robyn said she did not think that was the case as she explained why Juan’s deleting of text messages isn’t concerning.

“He deletes my messages. He’s asked me, ‘Robyn, can you send me so-and-so’s number?’ And I’m like, ‘I sent that number to you already.’ And he’s like, ‘I deleted it,’” she revealed.

Following the news of a cheating scandal involving Juan, Robyn denied he cheated on Patreon, which upset many of her RHOP co-stars who felt it was in poor taste for Robyn to discuss her spouse’s potential affair behind a paywall.

“I don’t see an issue with it,” Robyn said of her decision to open up on Patreon. “If we were filming, if it came up during filming, I would have no issue talking about it. It was the timing, is why we talked about it when we talked about it. So my question is, if we didn’t talk about it on Patreon, we would’ve talked about it on the podcast itself, so is that still an issue?”

“Well the podcast is free,” Andy Cohen, 55, replied, then asking Robyn which of her castmates were still mad she kept the Juan situation from them.

“I feel after Austin, we moved on from it,” Robyn confirmed.

According to Robyn, Juan isn’t watching this season of RHOP, nor has he embarked on a new coaching gig after being fired from Coppin State.

“He decided to spend the year off and spend more time with the family, the kids, volunteering with my son’s high school team. He appreciates it now. We all do,” Robyn claimed.

She then said that when it came to Karen comparing her to women in polygamy colonies, she didn’t “know enough about women in polygamy colonies” to cast any judgment.

Regarding her issue with Candiace, Robyn slammed her castmate’s lies.

“So my issue with Candiace’s use of social media was spreading lies and saying that I plotted on Chris to cover up for Juan. That’s where my issue lies, which I think is very damaging,” she noted.

Also on the live broadcast, Robyn weighed in on the reveal of Monica Garcia‘s involvement in a troll account against the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast after being asked if her behavior was forgiveable.

“No,” she replied. “It’s kinda creepy to think that someone who’s doing so much behind the scenes would infiltrate your friend group.”

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Robyn was questioned about her thoughts on Mia’s split from Gordon, 71, and recent rumors suggesting she’s engaged to new boyfriend Incognito.

“The split, of course, is unfortunate but I just feel like when you have an age gap, it’s inevitable,” Robyn explained. “The engagement… When we ask Mia questions, her response is like, she talks in kind of like circles. So by the end of her speaking, I’m just, ‘Yeah, okay,’ and I have no idea what the answer is.”

“I peeped that ring a long time ago and I asked her and she just said a bunch of blah, blah, blah,” she added.

The Real Housewives of Potomac season eight airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
