Patricia Altschul is responding after Ashley Jacobs claimed that she was the one who turned her against Kathryn Dennis. Ashley also took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday night, ahead of the Southern Charm finale, and revealed why she really returned to the show.
During last night’s Southern Charm finale episode, Patricia fired back at Ashley with a series of posts on Twitter after Ashley claimed Patricia was the one who made her believe Kathryn was a terrible person, and she insinuated she was doing Patricia’s bidding by going after Kathyrn.
“Her accusations that I influenced her are insane,” Patricia wrote. “She was [Thomas Ravenel]’ pawn and everything she said was dictated by him. I liked her initially until I saw how she treated [Kathryn Dennis].”
With another tweet, that included a video of Ashley talking about Thomas’ former nanny, who has since accused him of a sexual assault, Patricia slammed Ashley for following the orders of her ex-boyfriend.
“Thomas in the background coaching her….she was his pawn and mouthpiece and still is,” she alleged.
With a screenshot of a November 2018 Instagram post, in which she announced she would be leaving the Southern Charm cast ahead of season six, Ashley admitted that at the time, she truly believed she was never going to come back.
“To think I wasn’t ever going to come back… But then…,” she began.
“This person couldn’t just let it be. Had to keep poking me,” Ashley continued with a screenshot of a Twitter post in which Patricia was seen shading Ashley’s exit statement.
“So guess what?! I came back!!!” Ashley said in a third post, which included a scene from the finale episode.
As for what the future does hold for Ashley, she teased fans about the possibility of writing a book after one person suggested she should either get a book deal or have her own show.
“I swear you’d never look at the show the same way again if you knew what really went down! A book is not a bad idea lol,” she admitted.
The Southern Charm season six reunion begins airing next Wednesday, August 21 at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
