Erika Jayne Agrees That RHOBH is 'Less Toxic' Now That Lisa Vanderpump Can't 'Control the Narrative,' Plays Down Conflict with Denise Richards and Camille Grammer

Although Lisa Vanderpump is no longer a part of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills drama, Erika Jayne continues to throw shade her way.

After a stormy season nine — with a “PuppyGate” scandal and a no-show at the reunion — Erika is noting how season 10 feels “different” now that the “Diamonds and Rosé” star made her exit.

The Broadway star caught up with Jenny McCarthy for her SiriusXM show on April 30 to dish on this season of RHOBH and how much “lighter, faster, and more fun” it feels without the heavy crown weighing everything down.

Jenny noted she didn’t want to put words in Erika’s mouth by saying that Lisa was no longer trying to “control the narrative” of the show, but Erika immediately agreed with Jenny’s implication.

“No that’s right, you can put those words in my mouth… you’re absolutely right,” Erika stated.

Erika also agreed with Jenny’s assertion that the show was now “less toxic.” When Jenny’s co-host, and husband, Donnie Wahlberg compared Lisa’s exit to football player Tom Brady who just left the New England Patriots — that’s something Erika had to disagree with.

“She ain’t no Tom Brady, Donnie, come on!” Erika laughed, then admitted that it was actually “possible” Lisa could return to the franchise.

Even so, Erika noted how she didn’t feel like anything was missing from the show, saying she was “thrilled” with the way things currently are.

Although she may be fine with Lisa’s absence from the cast, tensions have flared this season on (and off) screen, with Denise Richards‘ halting filming with the ladies amid rumors of an alleged affair with Brandi Glanville being brought to the table.

The season 10 trailer also teased a strain between Erika and Denise’s husband, Aaron Phypers, as Erika recently commented on the rift she’s had with the couple — and with Aaron in particular.

“I actually like Denise and Aaron, even though I have conflict with them this season. There isn’t anything that happened between Denise and I that cannot be repaired,” she said. “Whatever Denise allegedly said about me, I can move past.”

Jenny and Donnie also asked about Camille Grammer‘s behavior at last year’s explosive reunion, wondering if Erika had an opinion on or conflict with the former RHOBH housewife.

The “XXPEN$IVE” singer let it roll off her shoulders, noting how that was a feud she wasn’t going to take on.

“It’s all relative. What does it mean to Erika? Not a whole lot,” she said. “The other women have really good reasons to be upset with her, I don’t.”
