Jim Edmonds appears to have popped the question to girlfriend Kortnie O’Connor after a year and a half of dating.
Just months after his divorce from his third wife, former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Meghan King, was finalized, Jim’s girlfriend shared a series of videos of herself on her Instagram Stories in which a massive diamond was seen hanging from that finger.
“Powdered? Or chocolate?” Kortnie asked in the caption of her clips, failing to acknowledge the meaning behind the stunning ring.
As RHOC fans will recall, Jim was first linked to Kortnie in January 2020 but didn’t publicly confirm their romance until two months later as they enjoyed time in Nashville with his daughter, Hayley Edmonds.
Since then, Jim hasn’t hesitated to publicly express his feelings for Kortnie on social media. In fact, in June of last year, he appeared to shade his ex Meghan, the mother of his three youngest children, in one of his pro-Kortnie posts.
“If it wasn’t for this girl, I don’t think I would be here right now. She showed up in my life just at the right time. Amazing that her taking a chance on a plus one weekend to Mexico pulled me out of my hole and changed my life forever,” Jim began in his June 23 statement.
Jim then said that before Kortnie he was in a “dark place.”
“I was going through hell ending a loveless and abusive relationship,” Jim recalled, seemingly giving a nod to his five-year marriage to Meghan.
In May, following the finalization of her messy divorce from Jim, Meghan told Us Weekly she “fully supports” his relationship with Kortnie.
“I would feel that stability for my children is what I care about the most. So any kind of long-term committed relationship that Jim is in, I fully, fully support because that’s absolutely the best for my children,” she said.
As for Meghan’s love life, the former reality star dated Christian Schauf for about six months in 2020 before moving on with Will Roos a few months later.
