Erika Jayne‘s lawyers are reportedly shaking in their boots ahead of the highly-anticipated four-part reunion special for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11.
Although Erika’s legal counsel allegedly advised her to be careful about what she said on the show, they fear that after comments from Andy Cohen and Garcelle Beauvais regarding the revelations she made, the damage may have already been done.
They’re afraid attorneys are “going through every episode of RHOBH, searching for things to use against her,” an insider revealed in the latest issue of Life & Style magazine. “Erika has already dug herself into a huge hole with RHOBH because she is in the midst of a legal battle and has no filter.”
At the end of last year, as filming began on the currently airing episodes, Erika suddenly filed for divorce from Thomas Girardi and in the months that followed, the two of them were accused of embezzling millions from his former clients, who have since sued the two of them for their settlement funds.
As Erika also faces a $25 million lawsuit from the trustee presiding over Thomas’ bankruptcy case, which he was forced into not only by his victims, but by other creditors and lenders, her lawyers are “worried sick” about what she may have revealed at the reunion
“They’re begging her to stop talking. But the damage may have already been done,” the source shared. “They warned her to choose her words wisely. But the truth is, whatever they tell Erika falls on deaf ears. She thinks she knows better than everyone else, even her legal team.”
Following the taping of the reunion, host Andy hinted on his radio show that Erika said quite a lot.
“I would say the last 90 minutes was a very spirited conversation about the case and what’s going on. She answers everything,” he told listeners. “I think I asked her everything. I mean, the viewers had amazing questions. And I feel that we represented the tenor of what the viewers were feeling.”
“I thought it was fascinating, it was engaging, it was surprising, and we spoke about everything,” he added.
Meanwhile, during an interview with the Daily Mail, Garcelle said Erika was “really honest.”
“She really said a lot of things we wanted answers to but we were not sure she would divulge,” she noted.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 finale airs Wednesday, October 6, at 8/7c on Bravo.
