Jax Taylor hosted a Q&A session recently on his Instagram Stories and during his short chat with his fans and followers, he answered a number of questions, many of which pertained to Vanderpump Rules.
Nearly a year after he and wife Brittany Cartwright confirmed they would not be featured on season nine, Jax was asked about whether or not he’s tuning in to season nine before he opened up about his future return to television — and his current work on his fourth film.
“Are you all watching [Vanderpump Rules] this season?” a fan asked during the October 14 Q&A.
“Haven’t gotten around to watching yet,” Jax replied.
Another person asked, “Would [you] come back to reality TV???”
“Depends on a lot of things, but not against it,” Jax admitted.
Then, when another curious fan wanted to know more about Jax’s potential return to television, asking, “Will we see you on TV again?,” Jax confirmed he will be back on the small screen “very soon.”
“Yes, very soon actually,” he shared.
In addition to preparing for his television return, Jax is also working as a producer on his fourth film.
“Are you a producer now? If so what do you think about the strike?” another person wondered.
“Yes, I have produced [three] films, currently working on my [fourth]. Loving it and learning a lot,” Jax replied.
According to IMDb, Jax has just one producer credit to his name, and that honor belongs to his and Brittany’s Bravo spinoff, Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky, which aired for just one season in 2017.
As for his plans for more kids, Jax told one Instagram user that he and Brittany “absolutely” planned to add to their family following the April birth of their first child, son Cruz Michael Cauchi.
Although Cruz is just six months old, Jax told another fan that he’s experienced major changes since becoming a father.
“What’s the best thing about fatherhood so far?” the fan asked.
“Becoming a father has really given me perspective in life in what really matters. Things that easily bothered me before seem trivial now. My son and wife are what’s most important to me. I’m so blessed,” Jax gushed.
Also during the Q&A, which took place while Jax was in traffic, someone wanted to know if Jax and Brittany would be featured on any of the upcoming episodes of Pump Rules season nine.
“Are [you] and [Brittany] in any of the new [Pump Rules] episodes?” they wondered.
“No… Myself, Brittany, [Stassi Schroeder], [and Kristen Doute] are not in any of the episodes,” Jax confirmed.
Jax and Brittany announced their departures from the show in December 2020, months after Bravo officially fired Stassi and Kristen over past accusations of racism.
Vanderpump Rules season nine airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
