Tamra Judge appeared on Sunday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she offered a rare update on ex-husband Simon Barney‘s cancer battle.
Before teasing Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip season two and weighing in on the ongoing drama of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, the Real Housewives of Orange County alum revealed how Simon’s been coping with his health crisis, which began in May 2019.
“He’s doing okay. He’s still fighting the fight,” Tamra confirmed to Andy Cohen on the February 20 episode of the WWHL: After Show.
While Tamra was surely met with drama when she began filming RHUGT season two at Dorinda Medley‘s home in the Berkshires, and she admitted that bestie Vicki Gunvalson feuded with “everybody,” she said it was Brandi Glanville who surprised her the most.
“Brandi and I did not have a good track record. We had some bad history but Brandi and I are also a lot a like… We go for the jugular if someone comes after us. So… It took about three days for us to become friends,” she admitted, noting that the two of them have “someone in common that comes out on the show.”
During the live broadcast of WWHL, Tamra was asked for her feelings about the second season of RHOSLC, specifically the women’s lack of questions for Jen Shah, who, like Erika Jayne on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was met with a major legal scandal at the start of filming.
“I don’t understand it at all,” Tamra said, comparing the two. “I feel like they were more concerned about whether [Meredith Marks]’s father was buried a certain day. You have [Mary Cosby] who is potentially, or possibly, stealing money from the church — whatever and then you have… It’s too much. They’re not concentrating on it at all. Why? Jen Shah, they’re not going to bring it up? Why? Because they’re afraid of her?”
Moving onto the RHOC cast, Tamra made it clear she’s no fan of Noella Bergener.
“Every village needs an idiot,” she replied when Andy asked for her thoughts.
Tamra also threw some shade at Shannon Beador for abandoning their friendship after she was fired from her full-time position on RHOC.
“Have I talked to Shannon? No. Because Shannon wouldn’t take my calls after I got fired,” she told a virtual audience member. “It’s been hard for me. It’s been hurtful. I’ve spoken out. I’ve been hurt. I’ve said things I probably shouldn’t have said. But at the end of the day, deep inside, I love her and I respect her but I was just hurt.”
While Tamra is no longer speaking to Shannon, she remains in close touch with Vicki and revealed to Andy that Kelly Dodd recently set her up with someone new.
“She’s dating a new guy. Kelly Dodd hooked them up and she really likes him. I haven’t met him. She wants me to meet him,” she shared.
As for her potential return to RHOC, Tamra admitted that was “an [Eddie Judge] decision” before he confirmed he likes her “1,000 percent” more when she’s not on the show.
