Following the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Tuesday, Dolores appeared alongside Margaret Josephs on the RHONJ: After Show, where they addressed Jennifer’s marriage, with Dolores saying what she believes truly bothers their co-star.
“In my heart of hearts, I think that one of the things that bothers her the most is the perception now of what people will think of her world,” Dolores explained, via Bravo Housewives on Instagram.
According to Dolores, Jennifer was “very proud” of the lifestyle she was living with her seemingly perfect husband and their five children in their mega-mansion in New Jersey. However, now that his affair has been exposed, her life doesn’t look like it once did.
“She was very proud of being the big fish in the pond. She was very proud of having the doctor husband and the Taj Mahal, and the Chanel, and this and that… very proud of that. But now people can look at it and say, ‘Well, was it worth it?'” Dolores noted.
As for Margaret, she said that when it comes to Jennifer and Bill’s marriage, a lot of “bandaids” have been put on their relationship over the years as she did her best to keep his infidelity a secret.
“I’m sorry. There’s a lot of bandaids that were put on that relationship.”
“Yes, [I regret confirming the affair]. Because it’s…. It’s not true to who I am. I’m always very forthright, and sometimes to my detriment. But there’s other people involved and my in-laws are very upset with him and my children are very upset,” Jennifer said. “But I do believe there’s power in my story and we ultimately have a happy ending.”
“I come from a traditional Syrian orthodox background,” she shared. “We have church parties, we have a huge network of extended family members… I’m not going to break all of this up for something that didn’t mean anything. Because what we have, that means something.”
