Kyle Richards looked back at the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast’s trip to Aspen during an appearance on Sunday night.
Before confirming where she stands with her co-stars today and sharing what she learned during her time with the Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip cast in Turks and Caicos, Kyle admitted that things got “out of control” in Colorado and described the upcoming episodes as “intense” and “crazy.”
“Things really got out of control, let me tell you,” Kyle told Entertainment Tonight during Elton John’s Oscars viewing party on March 27, via Instagram. “Aspen will never be the same.”
According to Kyle, she once felt that Aspen was her “happy place.” So, after things erupted amongst her castmates at her part-time residence, she returned to the home with a very thought-out plan.
“When I went back this last time, I took some sage with me. There was a Ouji board involved,” she revealed.
Although there was certainly enough drama in Aspen to take over the headlines for weeks, the turmoil-filled trip wasn’t the only storyline of RHOBH season 12. In fact, there was plenty more going on with the cast than their trip up north.
“It was a very intense season,” Kyle explained. “A lot of really intense things going on with a lot of the cast members, everything [Dorit Kemsley], the home invasion, what [Erika Jayne]’s been going through, and other personal things. It was a crazy season but when it’s really bad for us, it’s really good for the audience.”
When Kyle was then asked how her friendships with her castmates are today, Kyle admitted that she and her co-stars are able to quickly move on from their issues due to their close relationships with one another.
“I think what I love about our franchise on Beverly Hills is that we all really do love and care about each other,” she stated.
And continuing on, Kyle said that she realized just how different her cast is from other franchises amid filming on the debut season of RHUGT.
“I did the Ultimate Girls Trip for Peacock and I learned from the other franchises they’re really not like that,” she revealed. “I was like, ‘Wow, my girls were checking on me the whole time I was filming in Turks and Caicos.’ We fight and we argue but we all really do care about each other and support each other. And I think it’s really important in reality television because it has such a bad rap but we have genuine friendships. We care about each other.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 is expected to premiere later this spring or summer on Bravo.
