Randall Emmett is speaking out after his ex-wife Ambyr Childers‘ second restraining order against him was dismissed.
On Thursday, hours after it was revealed that the former couple, who was married for eight years and shares 50/50 custody of daughters London, 12, and Rylee, 9, was “working on a settlement” amid the 34-year-old actress’ claims that the 51-year-old film producer was being investigated by the FBI, Randall is glad to be moving on.
“As stated on the record in court this morning by attorney Heather Patrick, Ambyr and Randall have settled their differences, and Ambyr’s request for a restraining order has been dismissed,” a rep for Randall confirmed to Page Six on January 26. “Randall is glad this matter is resolved and behind him.”
According to court documents, all of Ambyr’s restraining order cases, including the request she filed in October, were “dissolved” without prejudice, which means she could reopen the cases at any time.
As fans may know, Ambyr is fighting for sole legal and physical custody of the children she shares with Randall. And, in her second restraining order request against Randall in December, she claimed he was being investigated by the FBI for alleged pedophilia. But, shortly after her allegations were made public, he denied any pending investigation on Instagram.
“The FBI has never been investigating me and isn’t investigating me because there’s nothing to investigate,” he told fans. “But unfortunately, in this culture, you can say whatever you want, and then it gets written about, and then that’s considered ’truth’ in this cancel culture. I’ve been a dad for a long time. I have custody of all of my children, and I have custody of all my children because I’m a good father and I’m a good person.”
Randall is also in the midst of a custody battle with Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent, 32, over 1-year-old daughter Ocean. And, in November, Randall accused his two exes of teaming up against him in an effort to win their respective custody battles.
“I believe that Ambyr and Lauren are working together in [an] attempt to destroy my reputation to give them both an advantage for custody,” Randall wrote in court documents at the time. “Ambyr has completely fabricated abuse that never happened, and I believe that Lauren has convinced her to do so.”
