Jackie Goldschneider feared Luis Ruelas wouldn’t be able to keep his composure with Joe Gorga at the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion.

As many of her castmates expressed hope for reconciliation between Teresa Giudice and the Gorgas, including Teresa’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, Jackie admitted to feeling that Luis was starting to “lose it” as Dolores Catania and Jennifer Fessler suggested that both Teresa and Melissa went into the taping with calm demeanors.

“I think there’s been some time for emotions to calm down. I’ve spoken to both of them. I’ve ran into them both today, and it seems like it’s a pretty calm setting and I just am praying that it stays that way,” Dolores shared on the May 30 episode of the RHONJ: After Show. “I lit a candle, palo santo, and my intentions for nothing but peace for everyone, even if they don’t wind up being close again, at least have peace in their lives.”

“I hope that there’s some kind of resolution, whether it’s agreeing to stay apart or finding a way to make amends, whatever it is, just like, a way to move forward,” Jennifer Aydin agreed.

And so did Fessler, who described Teresa as “very zen” going into the RHONJ reunion.

“I want to come of [the reunion] what everybody wants to come of it: Everybody wants resolution,” she explained.

Then, after Margaret Josephs said she wants “all truth” to “come to light,” Danielle Cabral revealed she hopes Teresa and Melissa will “leave it [all] out on the table” and “say what they have to say.”

“And [that] it’s the last time they say it,” she added.

And fellow newbie Rachel Fuda said that while “anything’s possible,” she too was “[hoping] and [praying] for reconciliation.”

“[It’s] probably not gonna happen today, but you gotta hope for the best,” she admitted, proclaiming, “Jesus take the wheel!”

As for Teresa herself, she said that when it came to her messy family drama, she was looking forward to putting an end to the madness.

“I just want to close this chapter,” she stated. “I wish them well, and I just want to be happy… Peace is the new sexy, like I’ve been saying, and I just want that.”

Melissa was also not hopeful that they could make amends.

“I don’t think much is gonna come of it,” she confessed. “Unfortunately, I feel like it’s gonna be more of the same, and that’s about it.”

Also on the RHONJ: After Show, Jackie looked back at the end of season 13 as she worried that Luis may act out.

“I know that Joe Gorga, like, maintains his composure. Hopefully, Luis does the same. I think he started to lose it in the last few episodes, so I don’t know if he’ll maintain his composure, but I hope that they keep it peaceful,” she stated. “I hope they find some way to move forward.”

Although Jackie acknowledged that no one expected Teresa and Melissa to leave the taping “as friends,” she said she hoped they’d be “willing to put their season 13 drama, which was fueled by claims that Teresa pushed a fake cheating rumor about Melissa, behind them and go their separate ways.”

“I think they’re so far gone. I don’t think there’s hope for them and I just hope that they, it doesn’t turn into a horrible, screaming throw-down,” she added.

Part two of the Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 reunion airs next Tuesday, June 6, at 8/7c on Bravo.
