Erika Jayne fired back at Rob Minkoff for suggesting she’s “responsible for spending the money” Thomas Girardi stole from his fraud victims on a podcast on Monday.
While also telling actor Jon Hamm “f*ck you” for the past comments he made about her controversial earrings not being hers and spotlighting her bad edit on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Erika, 52, reacted to the swirling rumors about Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley‘s marriages, weighed in on Bethenny Frankel‘s reality reckoning, and confirmed she was offered a gig with OnlyFans.
“They offered me, they gave me an offer right in the middle of when all this sh*t was happening,” Erika recalled of OnlyFans on the October 30 episode of #NoFilter With Zack Peter. “It was healthy and I could’ve used it and I said no because I think once you cross that threshold, it’s a tough one. I wasn’t there.”
While Bethenny has accused Bravo and its parent company, NBCUniversal, of taking advantage of its reality stars and forcing them into non-disclosure agreements that silence them, Erika said she’s “never” experienced such a thing.
“I had a really hard time the last two years and I felt like I could’ve been maybe given a little bit more width to explain myself. I mean, I think there’s room for us to get residuals. A reckoning? I don’t know,” she admitted. “I think it is what it is. It’s like becoming a police officer. What did you think was going to happen? It goes with the territory and I don’t know if you want to pick a fight with NBCUniversal … because they will get very motivated.”
“But good for her for speaking out if that’s how she feels,” she added.
During last week’s season 13 premiere, Dorit, 47, called out Erika for shading her marriage to Paul “PK” Kemsley, 56, by suggesting they’d be next to divorce and labeled her a “b*tch” for the comment, which Erika made at BravoCon before she knew that the couple was struggling.
In response, Erika said that while Dorit’s statement against her was “hurtful,” “that’s part of the game.”
“I have to remember that that’s built-in. Yeah, it’s hurtful but I have to rise above that,” she stated.
Although both Dorit and Kyle, 54, previously discussed her legal hardships on RHOBH, Erika said she would not pry into their relationship hardships.
“I will not treat them the way I was treated because it’s not right,” Erika shared. “There have been moments that I have wanted to lash out but I can’t do it. It’s not right and I remember how sh*tty it felt. I just can’t do it.”
According to Erika, she’ll instead show her support for her castmates “by letting them speak, by letting them tell me what they want to tell me. And by saying, ‘Okay, this is your life, I’m your friend, You will tell me what you want me to know and let me in on things you want me to know and just know I am here to support you, whatever choice you make. Whether you remain married or not, whatever you’re going through.'”
Looking back at her time on RHOBH, Erika said she hasn’t always gotten the best edit, especially when it came to her explanation of Thomas’ accident.
“Yesterday, someone in the digital space said, ‘Bravo asked me if I could redo how Tom’s house was broken into.’ And I said, ‘Absolutely not. I am a human being and that was a horrible day in my life and everything I said was true and actually, I’m insulted,’” she revealed. “I know it’s viral on TikTok but it’s my f*cking life and it was true. And no, I didn’t feel like the [story] was given enough time or explanation.”
Erika also took a lot of heat for not immediately turning over her earrings. But now, months after they were sold off amid Thomas’ bankruptcy proceedings, she said she wouldn’t want them back.
“First off, they were stolen once before so these were the replacement set for the stolen ones. It’s okay. You know what I love? It went on appeal. So the earrings are gone but I have my appeal,” she noted. “That made me happy. I won’t get the earrings back. They’ve been sold off and that’s fine too but the value of or whatever remains to be seen. The judge has to make his decision.”
Then speaking to Jon Hamm, who said, “They never were yours,” Erika said, “F*ck you. I won on appeal. You don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“‘Those were never yours.’ Really?” she continued. “Appellate judge said they were. Or at least said you can’t prove that they weren’t.”
As for Rob’s shade, Erika pointed out that many wives of wealthy husbands don’t know where exactly their money is coming from.
“Crystal spends your money, too, Rob. The more wealthy and… Let’s just leave it there,” she began, then adding, “To any of you that think you know what your husband is doing, you don’t. You may only know part of the story. There are many women that are married to powerful men or men that keep separate lives and they wake up just like, ‘What is this?’ And your whole life unfolds before you.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
