Kelly Dodd went on a rant against Braunwyn Windham-Burke on Instagram over the weekend.
After the Real Housewives of Orange County alum came across a comment from a critic, who said she was fired for impacting Bravo’s brand and wondered why the network would get rid of Braunwyn, whose views line up with their own, Kelly clapped back with claims of lies before comparing herself to the remaining women of the show.
“I came across your ignorant comments and can’t help but set the record straight,” Kelly began. “First of all Braunwyn is a fraud and a liar who didn’t pay her rent for four months, offered her drug dealers [phone number] to a 15 year old and admitted to assaulting her husband [Sean Burke].”
According to Kelly, she knows Braunwyn and Sean’s former landlord, who sued them for $45,000 in unpaid rent weeks ago, and she believes she “still hasn’t been paid.”
Kelly then pointed out that during her final season of RHOC, the show received “outstanding” ratings, and she mentioned her popularity in comparison to the ladies of season 16.
“For us to do as well as we did is remarkable, topping [Real Housewives of New York City], [Real Housewives of Salt Lake City], [Real Housewives of Dallas] and more and I still have more fans than [Gina Kirschenheiter] and [Emily Simpson] and my engagements are off the charts,” she noted.
Kelly then took on the critic’s comments about the New Year’s Eve party she attended months ago, which resulted in a COVID-19 breakout as well as a legal letter from Heather Dubrow, who demanded that she apologize for jokingly suggesting she contracted the virus from her son.
“You weren’t there. We were. And we didn’t care if we got Covid or not. We weren’t scared and still aren’t,” Kelly noted.
She then said that she never wrote that COVID-19 was “God’s way of thinning the herd,” (which she surely seemed to do) and she compared it to Darwinism.
“It happens every century and the strong will always survive, snowflake,” she continued. “I wish Bravo continued success. I wish all the cast members nothing but the best. I’ve never been happier. Bravo did me a favor and I can’t wait to launch my podcast with [husband Rick Leventhal] next month to share all our great stories.”

Also on Instagram, the former RHOC cast member responded to a commenter who said the “majority asked for” Kelly to be fired and noted that her departure was what “everyone wanted.”
“The ‘majority’? ‘Everyone’? Ask my 815,000 Instagram followers. I didn’t buy mine. How many do the other women have? Compare our engagements. My opinions may not align with yours but I won’t apologize for being me and im not changing either. Learn more on my podcast coming next month!!!” she replied.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 16 is currently in production.
