RHOBH Alum Teddi Mellencamp Claps Back at Noella for Claiming Podcasts Equal Failure, Confirms She's "Winning" at Life With Pic of Family Amid RHOC Star's Divorce

Teddi Mellencamp is firing back at Noella Bergener for suggesting that because she is hosting a podcast post-Real Housewives she’s a failure.

After Tamra Judge, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum’s podcast co-host, and Brandi Glanville, who hosts her own podcast, lashed out at the Real Housewives of Orange County newbie, telling her to “get over [herself]” and spotlighting Noelle’s “own sad problems,” Teddi explained exactly how she’s “winning at life.”

Along with a screenshot of Noella telling Entertainment Tonight that she’ll know she’s “failed at life” if she has a podcast after her exit from RHOC, Teddi, who ended a three-season run in September 2020, said she doesn’t define herself by whether or not she’s starring on a Bravo show.

“If my definition of ‘winning at life’ is that I was on Housewives that would be,” Teddi wrote in an Instagram Story on January 25.

Teddi then revealed what she does consider when thinking about whether or not she’s winning or losing at life.

“This is what I consider winning at life. These loves. Our family. Laughter. Each other,” Teddi revealed, along with a family photo of herself, husband Edwin Arroyave, and their kids, including the three they share and the step-daughter she’s helped Edwin raise over the past several years.

Following the news of Noella’s addition to RHOC, she learned her now-estranged husband, James Bergener, owed millions in back taxes. And after Noella admitted to struggling with the news, James suddenly filed for divorce. She’s had little interaction with him since (aside from their occasional Instagram feuds).

As for her three seasons on RHOBH, Teddi tagged Noella in a post in which she explained that she finds it important not to base her self-worth on the reality show on which she once starred regardless of how much she valued the experience.

“Doing Housewives and making life long friends and having a special bond that only some people will ever understand is definitely a highlight. However, very important to not consider being on as ‘winning at life’ and being off ‘failing at life,'” she told the new RHOC cast member.
