Is Brandi Glanville in touch with Lisa Vanderpump or Kim Richards?
While appearing on Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge‘s podcast on Friday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum offered updates on her relationships with her former co-stars as she also addressed Kyle Richards‘ drama with sister Kathy Hilton, revealed who she would fire from the show, and explained why she didn’t miss spending Thanksgiving with Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian as she previously claimed.
“Absolutely not. None, zero, absolutely not,” Brandi confirmed on the December 2 episode of Two Ts in a Pod after being asked if she’s spoken to Vanderpump recently.
Brandi also revealed she’s no longer speaking to Kim.
“I love Kim. We are not talking still, but she’s like a sister to me,” she shared.
According to Brandi, things between her and Kim took a turn for the worse amid the pandemic.
“During COVID, I took her to the emergency room and then… COVID was hard for everyone. We don’t get along all the time. We fight. She’s like a sister. We would get in fights. My kids loved her but when she was mean to me, I was mean back so I think she kinda just quit me,” Brandi revealed, proceeding to reveal Kim “made something up because COVID was too hard” after their falling out.
“She knows I love her, and she knows I will never tell her secrets or share any of the sh-t we went through, and I do think she’ll come back around at a point but I’m not gonna chase her down,” Brandi added.
Because Kyle’s drama with Kathy played such a major role on season 12, with Lisa Rinna coming forward with claims of threats Kathy allegedly made against Kyle, Brandi was asked for her thoughts on the podcast.
“Blood is always thicker than water. The sisters will always come back together,” she stated. “[Kyle Richards] is the person that holds that… She’s the one that holds them all together.”
Brandi then applauded Kyle for driving the ship on RHOBH “in a good way,” saying that if she didn’t prompt certain conversations, “no one would have” them.
As for whether or not she believes Rinna and Erika should be separated, Brandi compared their dynamic to Big Brother, saying, “It’s like, everyone has their final two. Kyle has [Dorit Kemsley], Rinna has Erika, [Sutton Stracke] and [Garcelle Beauvais]. I would definitely break up some of the couples. [But] I don’t know if I would start completely fresh.”
Then, after noting that Diana Jenkins “doesn’t exist” in her mind after season 12, Brandi said she’d fire Crystal Kung-Minkoff.
“Crystal. Because who’s her final two?” she wondered.
During her time on RHOBH, Brandi accused Vanderpump of encouraging her to bring up scandalous rumors suggesting Kyle’s husband, Mauricio Umansky, had been unfaithful. However, fans never actually saw her do it.
“Cameras were there so I’m sure it’s floating around somewhere,” Brandi reasoned.
Speaking of her modern family with Leann and Eddie, Brandi admitted that when it came to her recent claim of missing their time together amid Thanksgiving, she actually “did not” miss being there.
“I had the boys for 10 days straight and I’m used to having them week on, week off and they were driving me f-cking nuts, honestly. So they had planned Thanksgiving at noon the day after I just gave the boys back. And we usually do it in the evening and I had the worst sinus headache. But I was just like, ‘I can’t get out of bed,” she recalled.
But currently, there is no tension between her and Leann. Instead, she’s butting heads with Eddie.
“Actually, [Leann] and I get along great. It’s the ex-husband and I because we have to co-parent and we don’t see eye to eye on it,” she explained. “I think my kids should have jobs. Like, real jobs … When you’re supporting their lives still and we’re each paying for their lives… If [Mason, 19] had his own place and living his best life and paying for everything himself, that’s different. But we’re still splitting the cost on everything and we don’t see eye-to-eye.”
Also, during the interview, Brandi offered an update on her father, Guy Glanville, who has endured a number of health challenges in recent years.
“He’s great. His health is good. He still has heart issues. He’s had like six open heart surgeries at this point but he’s 73,” she shared. “My dad is great. [But] my mom’s a saint.”
