Kyle Richards is reacting to her RHOBH co-star Erika Jayne‘s shocking claim that a California judge is the alleged mistress of her estranged husband Thomas Girardi. Plus, a federal judge has just ordered Erika to appear for an emergency contempt hearing.
Erika may have filed for divorce from Tom last month but unfortunately, she’s still being dragged into his ongoing legal drama.
Following the filing of a number of million-dollar lawsuits against her estranged husband, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member, who exposed his alleged cheating on Friday, appears to be on the verge of being found in contempt amid a $2 million case against both her and Thomas.
“BREAKING: Northern Dist. Court in Illinois sets emergency contempt hearing against [Erika Jayne]. He has ordered her to get reasonable notice. You can help, retweet this notice to her so she is aware and she can’t claim she didn’t know about it. We will report the retweets,” attorney Ronald Richards confirmed on Twitter on December 18.

Around the time that the attorney’s tweet was shared, Erika was on Instagram, where she posted a number of text messages reportedly sent between her estranged husband and his alleged mistress, Tricia A. Bigelow.
Tricia happens to be a judge for the 2nd District Division 8 of the California Court of Appeal, a position she’s had since 2008 after being appointed by former CA Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Although the post was deleted about 35 minutes after it was shared, Erika did capture a response from her RHOBH co-star, Kyle Richards, before the shocking reveal was erased.
In a screenshot of the post shared by Stupette Says on Twitter, Kyle was seen applauding Erika for sharing her “receipts” as she also included a green checkmark emoji.
While Erika and Thomas have been accused of staging a “sham” divorce in an effort to protect their money from creditors, an insider earlier this week claimed Erika was actually completely in the dark about Thomas’ malpractice.
“Erika was completely unaware of the very serious allegations that were being made against Tom in court,” a source told Us Weekly on December 18, noting that she had no idea Thomas never paid the families of a 2018 plane crash $2 million of settlement money they were owed.
“Tom always handled all of the finances and that was how they handled things. Erika feels betrayed by Tom because she completely trusted him,” the insider explained. Erika never thought Thomas “could be capable of doing what he has been accused of in court.”
“She is just reeling from all of this, but make no mistake. Erika is a tough cookie and she isn’t stupid. She will get through this,” the source added.
In a court hearing earlier this month, Thomas was found to be in contempt amid the $2 million lawsuits against him and Erika and in the days that followed, the assets of both him and his firm were frozen.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 is currently in production and expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in 2021.
