Lala Kent is feeling a bit weird filming Vanderpump Rules season nine without her fired ex-castmates, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, as she also addresses her 20-year age gap with fiancé Randall Emmett.

While appearing on the podcast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Garcelle Beauvais, Lala opened up about the new season before paying “Marry, Shag, Kill” with Beau Clark, Jax Taylor, and Brock Davies. She also dished on her romance with Randall.

“It feels extremely strange. We are friends in real life so just because they’re not on a show with us anymore, they’re still very much a part of [my life]. [But] it feels very weird,” Lala admitted of filming without her former co-stars on the June 17 episode of Going to Bed With Garcelle.

As for her own partner, 50-year-old fiancé Randall, Lala, 30, praised him as her “best friend.”

“I feel so safe and loved by him and I just know we are ride or die,” she gushed.

Although there is a 20-year age gap between Lala and Randall, the Pump Rules star said they meet each other in the middle.

“It really is perfect. I never thought I’d be with someone 20 years older than me and now I get it. Age is just a number,” she stated. Plus, she continued, “He has more energy than I do so I’m actually looking forward to him getting older because I’m like, ‘I need you to calm down, a little bit.’”

While Lala’s relationship with Randall works, she told the RHOBH cast member she would not be thrilled if her daughter came home with a man 20 years her senior.

“I would have a heart attack, I would die. I’d be like, ‘What are you doing? Out of all the men in the world, this guy?’” she said.

As for her and Randall’s upcoming wedding, Lala said they’re shooting for 2022.

“I would like small and intimate. Rand is a movie producer so he wants a production. So we’ll give him what he wants,” she added.

One major thing that looks different during season nine, aside from the rumored newbies, is the new babies, including Lala’s daughter, Ocean, and Scheana Shay‘s daughter, Summer.

“I don’t know how that happened,” Lala noted of the Pump Rules baby boom, which also included the arrival of Stassi’s daughter, Hartford, and Brittany Cartwright‘s son, Cruz.

“There were times that we would talk about how fun it would be if we all had children together and then we just all happened to just legitimately all have children together. It was so weird. So even though it looked like a pact, we really just had little fun banters about it,” she explained.

When Lala was then asked to play “Marry, Shag, Kill” with Beau, Jax, and Brock, she quickly said Beau would make the best husband.

“I would marry Beau. I guess I would have, because I don’t want to kill Jax, so I guess I’d [shag] Jax and then I’d kill Brock because I don’t know him that well,” she reasoned.

Vanderpump Rules season nine is currently in production and expected to premiere on Bravo sometime this fall.
