Scheana Shay and her fiancé, Brock Davies, feel horribly about what Luis Ruelas has been put through on his debut season on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
As she welcomed Dolores Catania to her podcast, the Vanderpump Rules cast member admitted to having compassion for Teresa Giudice‘s fiancé before sharing why she finds Jackie Goldschneider so relatable and offering an update on her and Brock’s upcoming wedding.
“I feel like Luis and Brock are having a very similar first season where it’s like, you know, you have a good guy who is supportive of you being a public figure and being a part of a reality show. And then the women on the show just come for them,” Scheana shared on the March 25 episode of Scheananigans.
According to Scheana, Brock, who admitted to slapping his ex-wife on season nine of Pump Rules, is actually planning to reach out to Luis to offer support.
“Brock and I sit back and we watched the show and he’s like, ‘I want to like reach out to Luis and just be like, man, I get it,’ because he had such a rough go his first season,” she explained.
Scheana also felt badly watching Jennifer Aydin cope with the public reveal of her husband Bill Aydin‘s affair.
“There were a lot of things with Brock this season that I wouldn’t have talked about, but it all ended up coming out and that was his fault. But I understand why she never wanted to say anything because you know, she’s moved past it,” Scheana said of Jennifer’s attempts to keep her husband’s infidelity under wraps.
As for who Scheana found most relatable amid RHONJ season 12, that honor went to Jackie, who shockingly befriended Jennifer amid the swirling conversations about her husband.
“In this situation, I understood where Jackie was coming from because I do the same thing… Like when all of the girls were against [Lala Kent] on my show, I was like, ‘No, I want to like befriend to her… I feel bad,'” Scheana recalled.
Moving onto the upcoming second season of Winter House, Scheana said she’s loving Bravo’s parlay into crossover shows.
“I even heard about some other people who I know who are popping on Winter House this year. So it’s even more of a crossover of shows,” she teased, adding that she’s hoping for a Pump Rules crossover.
As for her summer wedding, Scheana said she and Brock are now planning to tie the knot in Mexico.
“We’re going down to Mexico in a couple of weeks to look at some venues down there. We have four venues we’re looking at. We’re going to see if one of those is going to be the right fit and hopefully end of August, that is the plan,” she shared.
