Kenya Moore was featured on Sunday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she addressed the DM she received from Sheree Whitfield‘s boyfriend, Martell Holt, years ago.
After the issue was a hot topic on the premiere episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15, Kenya teased the contents of the message while also offering an update on her ongoing divorce from Marc Daly, commenting on Drew Sidora‘s split from Ralph Pitman Jr., and explaining where she stands with Porsha Williams.
“We’re cool,” Kenya said of herself and Porsha on the May 7 episode of WWHL. “We’ve never hated each other. It’s like a love-hate relationship. I’ve liked her at times.”
After appearing on the debut season of Peacock’s Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, Kenya tuned into season three, where the cast questioned Porsha about her relationship with husband Simon Guobadia, which began just as he split from ex Falynn Pina, a former friend and ex-co-star of Porsha’s.
“The questions were going to come. I mean, it was obviously [controversial] and if she was gonna do a show with other housewives, she knows what it is,” Kenya reasoned, adding that she wasn’t surprised to see Porsha butting heads with Candiace Dillard-Bassett.
“They have beef. They’ve been going back and forth on social media for a while so I wasn’t surprised by that,” she noted.
As for Drew’s divorce, Kenya said, “I was heartbroken.”
“Honestly, they seemed like they were doing better,” she revealed. “They were really working toward getting their marriage back on track and then we just got hit with the news and I felt sad because you never want to see the demise of a marriage.”
Kenya then offered a bit of advice to her castmate: “Don’t drag her husband and try to mediate.”
At the end of last month, Marlo Hampton shaded Kenya in an interview with Access Hollywood, telling the outlet Kenya needs her for a “storyline” and claiming she “loves everything” she does.
“She admires me and she always talks about me so I know she loves me,” Marlo had stated.
But in response, Kenya told a fan who mentioned the interview, “She needs to take her medication more often, regularly.”
On the WWHL: After Show, Kenya was questioned about the status of her divorce.
“God… The world’s longest divorce. Not divorced yet, had mediation last week, didn’t come to an agreement. Have another one in another week. If that doesn’t work, then trial. It’s a lot,” she admitted. “I’m like, ‘Whatever you want,’ at this point. It’s continuances. And ‘Oh I have to get my lawyer to check on this.’ It’s a lot.”
Then, when host Andy Cohen asked why Marc was keeping it going, Kenya replied, “That’s another question for another day.”
Moving on to her drama with Martell on the live broadcast, Kenya said she has no regrets about airing her concerns about Martell at Aaron Ross‘ birthday.
“It was just me being a friend and being honest and transparent,” she declared.
And after Andy wondered why his DM was a “big deal” if it was sent two years ago, prior to his romance with Sheree, Kenya admitted it “wasn’t a big deal.”
“I didn’t remember exactly how long ago it was but I didn’t want someone else telling her. I wanted her to hear it from me. And I said it wasn’t a big deal to me but I just wanna let you know,” she explained.
Also on WWHL, after saying she believes things “[go] left with [Martell] and a lot of people very quickly all the time, especially his baby’s mama and ex-wife,” Kenya was asked if she found out what Martell had sent her.
“Yes. It was a message. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, it was just something like, it was an attempt to open a door,” she shared.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
