ONJ's Margaret Josephs Explains "Resilient" Comment About Jen's Kids, Says She Hopes to "Move Forward," and Reacts to Luis Video, Plus Talks Joe's Feud With Gia

Margaret Josephs was a featured guest on Tuesday night’s Watch What Happens Live, and during her appearance on Andy Cohen‘s late-night talk show, she spoke of the drama she and Jennifer Aydin are facing on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Following the airing of the aftermath of Margaret’s reveal regarding Bill Aydin‘s affair on RHONJ, Margaret explained why she shared the news before reacting to her comment about children being “resilient,” speaking of Luis Ruelas‘ bizarre beach video, and addressing Joe Gorga‘s feud with Gia Giudice.

“I wasn’t trying to shock her. I was just trying to point out her hypocrisy,” Margaret explained on the February 8 episode of WWHL, looking back on the moment she brought up Bill’s affair.

After being criticized for exposing Bill’s infidelity, namely due to the impact it would have on Jennifer’s children, Margaret said on last night’s RHONJ that kids are “resilient” and “will get over it.”

“I think time heals all wounds. Their father’s still an amazing father… This does not define him or take away from anything he’s done and that’s what I had meant by it,” Margaret said of the comment. “I didn’t want her to be concerned about them because it doesn’t negate anything that he’s done that’s amazing.”

Margaret also defended herself against comparisons to Teresa Giudice, who she shamed amid season 11 for repeating a false rumor about the alleged cheating of Jackie Goldschneider‘s husband, Evan Goldschneider.

“Spreading a lie is worse,” she stated.

While Margaret may not be on good terms with Jennifer at this point, and understandably so, Margaret did have good things to say about the couple.

“I think they’re both great parents,” Margaret confirmed. “They’ve gone the distance. They’ve put this negative infidelity behind them. [And] they’ve worked out their issues.”

Margaret also said she believes she and Jen will one day move forward from their current feud.

“I think we have to come to some sort of agreement with everything that has happened,” she explained. “She had such an attacking way about me when things were going on in her own backyard but two wrongs don’t make a right and I think we can move forward from it.”

In addition to staying tuned into her show, Margaret has also started watching Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, where Teresa recently shaded the RHONJ cast, saying that filming the Bravo show hasn’t been enjoyable because the ladies don’t have her back.

“I know [Dolores Catania] and Jennifer probably felt horrible. And me too,” Margaret shared of the diss. “I was always very close with Teresa. And even now, I care for her. I’m brutally honest with everybody in my life.”

During last week’s episode of RHONJ, Teresa’s fiancé became a hot topic for Margaret and her castmates after a video showed him shirtless and begging for an ex to take him back. And on WWHL, Andy read a question from a viewer, who wanted to know why Margaret felt it was so important that the clip be discussed.

“It was out there. There was very negative things about [it] on the internet. Just explain. Because when you do look up what it is, and it is a little bit toxic masculinity here. I mean, they do beat each other up. And I thought maybe he could get ahead of it and explain it,” she said. “I think it would be a better situation.”

She then reacted to Joe’s dispute with Gia over comments he made about her father, Joe Giudice.

“It was rough. It was hard to watch. It’s sad when that happens with family and I really felt bad for Joe Gorga but I felt bad for Gia because she obviously was hurting. But Joe, I felt very bad for him. He loves Gia so much so it’s very painful for him,” Margaret revealed.

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, a fan wanted to know if she was more hopeful about mending her relationship with Teresa or Jen.

“Well I think Jennifer, because the season’s lining back up again. I think it’s going to bring up emotions [but] I thought we had left off in a good place last time we were together,” Margaret replied, adding that she also hopes she and Teresa will “move past things.”
