Teddi Mellencamp offered an update on the text chain between the Fox Force Five, which consists of Teddi, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, and Lisa Rinna, during a Q&A session with her fans and followers on her Instagram Story last week.

While also addressing Brandi Glanville‘s potential return to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, her current status with Sutton Stracke, and Bethenny Frankel‘s recently-launched Real Housewives-themed podcast, Teddi complained about the ongoing labeling of their friend group and confirmed that her former castmates’ group chat is inactive.

“Can we please stop saying Fox Force Five? Please? A new name? Anything,” Teddi stated on December 30 after being asked if the text stream was “still dead.”

She then offered an update on the communication between the ladies, saying, “I talk to all of the individuals that are on that text separately but the group chat has not been activated.”

“I don’t think we’ve had any group texting,” she added.

When another fan wanted to know if she’d ever write a book, Teddi explained why she would not.

“I was approached about doing this a couple years back and I started the process and I realized that just because I’m an open book does not mean that everyone in my family is an open book,” she stated. “I wouldn’t wanna write one that was filled with fluff or BS so at this point in time, the answer’s [no]. I try to be as transparent as I can about my life and what I can share with you guys but having it in writing about some of my family members, I don’t know.”

“Who would you like to have on the [podcast] that has turned you down?” wondered another follower of Teddi’s.

“I don’t know if she’s turned us down or she just had to wait till after the reunion but she did unfollow us … But I really want to get to the bottom of Heather Gay’s black eye so I would like to have her on, sooner rather than later,” Teddi revealed of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star. “I’m gonna tag her right now. Heather, send me a DM. I know you’re annoyed but there’s some things you did this year that were annoying that we had to talk about but maybe next year could be better.”

“You’re only as good as last week’s episode,” she warned.

Regarding where she currently stands with Sutton, who she feuded with on RHOBH but made up with after her exit, Teddi admitted, “Sutton hasn’t invited me to lunch in a while.”

“For a while there, we had the communication. I think the pod made it a little tricky but the last time she was on the pod, she was like, ‘You know, we like each other. We just like to tease each other.’ That being said, I haven’t gotten any recent invitations to anything,” she revealed.

“Are you too booked up with Denise, Sutton?” Teddi asked her ex-co-star, who has been spending time with former cast member Denise Richards in recent months.

Also speaking of RHOBH, Teddi reacted to recent rumors suggesting Brandi may return.

“I don’t think anyone knows anything yet but I think she’d be great. Are you kidding? She’s such good TV, she’s always willing to bring it and she doesn’t take herself too seriously, which [are] signs of a good housewife,” Teddi stated.

As for what will happen with Lisa Rinna on season 13, Teddi suggested she’s a necessary factor to RHOBH.

“I think it’s very hard to have a television show if no one is willing to stir it and get their hands dirty. If everyone wants to give the illusion of perfection, how are you ultimately gonna have a show?” she asked. “I love my Housewives messy and Rinna has good years and she has not so good years but I’m excited to see what happens.”

Then, after revealing she would “of course” have Bethenny on her podcast, and sarcastically joking that she’s not sure where Two T’s in a Pod would be “without Bethenny coming up with Housewives podcasts,” Teddi responded to a follower who asked about the difference between her and Tamra’s show and that of the Real Housewives of New York City alum.

“I think it’s different because she talks to celebrities who don’t really know much about the show and they give their takes on rewatching an episode,” Teddi replied, noting that she hasn’t listened to ReWives. “I think Bethenny is great. There’s room for everybody but it’s a completely different podcast. We watch every single episode. We are living and breathing it and pretending we are part of the action.”

Also during the Q&A, Teddi responded to a fan who wanted to know if she and husband Edwin Arroyave would be adding to their family.

“Absolutely not. I mean, at this point, Dove’s walking a thin line. She might be out of here,” Teddi jokingly replied.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to go into production sometime later this month.
