The Melissa Gorga cheating rumor will seemingly take center stage in the second-half of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13.
In the just-released midseason trailer, a number of happy moments are teased, including the cast’s trip to Ireland with Dolores Catania and her boyfriend, Irishman Paul Connell, and Teresa Giudice‘s wedding preparations with her daughters, before all hell breaks loose.
“She caught you in the backseat of a car, kissing a guy,” Danielle tells Melissa in the sneak peek clip, seemingly referencing a rumor that began swirling amid season 13 in regard to Melissa and family friend Nick Barrotta.
According to reports months ago, Teresa and Jennifer Aydin learned of the rumor from Margaret Josephs‘ ex-best friend, Laura Marasca Jensen, who claimed Margaret had told her of the false report.
Although Melissa quickly reconsiders attending Teresa’s wedding to Luis Ruelas, Dolores warns her that if she doesn’t go to the wedding, her relationship with Teresa will likely be “over.”
“How can I celebrate someone else’s marriage when they are constantly trying to destroy mine?” Melissa replies.
Elsewhere, Teresa, who chats with Joe Giudice on the phone prior to her big day, is seen in tears as a member of her glam team asks, “So your only sibling [Joe Gorga] is not showing up?”
During their time in Ireland, the ladies go on numerous adventures as they call a seemingly haunted, 400-year-old castle home. However, they also experience plenty of drama.
“What you did was tell her everything I said. First of all, calm the f-ck down!” Danielle Cabral yells at fellow newbie Rachel Fuda during a group dinner.
Then, Danielle goes in on Margaret, potentially in regard to her involvement in the cheating rumor.
“You created it,” Danielle claims.
“Don’t you ever!” Margaret fires back as someone holds her from getting closer to her castmate.
Jennifer’s marriage to husband Bill Aydin is also a hot topic on the remaining RHONJ episodes, with Dolores telling her, “[Jackie Goldschneider] told me some stuff about you and Bill fighting,” and Jennifer later admitting, “We don’t want to rip each other’s clothes off and jump each other’s bones anymore.”
As for Dolores’ potential future marriage, Frank Catania tells her and Paul, “You guys are moving ahead,” before asking Paul, “Did she tell you what kind of ring she wants?”
“I already have it,” he replies.
Then, during a later conversation, hinting at lingering drama between them, Paul tells Dolores, “Frank needs to grow up. You can’t move forward hanging onto the past.”
